We arrived late and could smell the campfire they had going in the yard. Nice touch. Spotless clean room with comfy beds if a bit outdated. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again. "

"This is a great, basic, not fancy clean motel. The location is great for the ferry to Mackinaw, just a few minutes from Shepler's dock. Thanks to the motel front desk staff for giving us good information about shuttles and getting the ferry to Mackinaw Island. DON"T pay 15.00 to park at Shepler's lot, call them and the nice shuttle will pick you up in minutes from this motel. Tip the driver, they are super nice. There is an excellent cafe for breakfast and lunch across the parking lot called the wild blueberry breakfast and bakery. Super short walk. We would definitely stay here again, especially for the price. Nice basic convenient place. "
