Our apartment is located in the heart of the beautiful El Born district of Barcelona’s Historic Centre known as Ciutat Vella.

It’s on the doorstep of the magnificent Picasso Museum and MOCO, Barcelona’s new Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the Chocolate Museum and the Ciutadella Park. It’s a 5-minute walk from the beautiful palm-fringed marina and the cathedral, a 10 minute walk from the Ramblas, and just 15 minutes from the beaches that led to Barcelona being crowned Nº1 Beach City in the World by National Geographic Magazine.

The apartment has a floor area of 90m2 and provides real home from home comfort and every luxury to make your holiday accommodation extra special. It has high speed fibre optic internet at 100mbps, duck down duvets in winter, a Nespresso coffee machine and a home cinema system.

It is spacious with open plan areas in the living room & kitchen/dining room. It has high vaulted ceilings with exposed wooden beams and French windows leading out onto little wrought iron Juliette balconies.

It has a landline, a breakfast bar, a split-level spa-style bathroom with a huge shower cubicle. It even has a secret door!

The apartment was also featured in a TV documentary on Catalán interiors.

Très beau logement , très propre et accueillant. Petit bémol les odeurs à l'extérieur dans la ruelle. Mais sinon tout était parfait, resto et marché à proximité.

Appartement très bien situé, à 15 minutes à pieds de la plage Barcelona, 2 minutes du parc et 10 minutes du quartier gothique. Tout ce fait à pieds, meme avec des enfants en bas age. L'appartement est propre et fonctionnel. L'annonce informe un parking, il s'agit du parking du centre ville (frais supplémentaires). Nous avons séjourné en août, nous entendions beaucoup de bruits des voisins, dérangeant la nuit surtout dans l'une des chambres (seul inconvénient, mais peut être du à la période estivale ??). L'appartement à la climatisation, appréciable en août. La propriétaire a pris de nouvelles à distance durant notre séjour, très bonne communication. Merci pour sa disponibilité.

It was a very relaxing stay home away from home. The location was very convenient. We found a very nice little coffee just around the corner for our start of the day, it even opened at 7:30 am, what was awesome since we still had a jet lag. Our welcome was very nice. The apartment works very well as a staging point to explore Barcelona. Everything is walkable and the transit is close. With two teenagers, we had plenty of space and the information from the host is excellent. From checkin to instructions for appliances, everything was easy.

Awesome stay in El Born
Communication was brilliant. Kay set up a WhatsApp group prior to leaving for Barcelona between us. Daniel (local agent) met us as agreed, and managed the check-in process perfectly. The apartment was exactly as described and the location was wonderful. Perfect base to explore Barcelona. We also took advantage of the restaurant recommendations in the information provided by Kay, which were excellent. Overall, we had a great time and I would highly recommend Kay’s place for those looking for an apartment to stay for a small group in a location that doesn’t disappoint.

Exactly as described.
This apartment was exactly as described. Check-in and communication with the owner was easy and clear. For the trip we had planned, this was a perfect location, right in the heart of the old city, sites, beach and restaurants! We live in a rural, quiet area, so the noise and night-time activity that the Spanish city culture brings conflicted with our sleep, but this has nothing to do with the apartment, just a heads up for those that are more accustomed to peace at night;) Don't avoid, just be aware and prepared. Thank you Kay for sharing your space with us! What an experience!

Comfortable and clean with many special touches
We loved the apartment! The hosts were also great. They even made a book with instructions for how to use all appliances/electronics, as well as numerous area recommendations. It was very clean upon arrival. The kitchen has everything you’d need. The living area was extremely comfortable. One negative: the listing shows this is a 2 bedroom. The bedroom with the queen isn’t totally separate. It is partitioned off the living area by an L-shaped wall. It is still fairly private, but renters may wish to know this.
