"There was a loud fight in our hallway on the last night that we stayed, the front desk person was fast to respond but it was very unsettling. Window’s don’t seal properly so there was a lot of noise pollution from outside. Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay! Great location with walkable food options and very spacious units!"

Its central location allowed for easy access to everything. The house rules were a bit extensive but understandable given the standard of the property. "I like the vintage vibe of the Freehand and how well maintained that it is. The property had plenty of amenities like a rooftop pool and bar, on-site restaurant, gym and guest lounge. The hotel is centrally located in Downtown L.A. to bars, stores, shops and food. The only thing that I disliked is when staff would walk into my room without knocking at 9:30 am, this happened twice during my stay."
