NEVER LEAVE THE CABIN IF YOU HAVE A LIVE FIRE. We have an ash bucket on the rock deck for cold ashes. \+ Please check the weather prior to your stay so you can be properly prepared. We are in an area that can get hot in the summer, very cold in the winter and can experience high winds. We will not issue refunds for weather issues, or road closures that are out of our control. \+ When visiting a mountain town, it\`s important to be aware that you may encounter various types of insects and bugs due to the natural environment. No refunds will be issued, though we make every effort to manage pest control. \+ We strongly encourage purchasing travelers insurance, especially in the winter months. We arrived and the cabin was very clean, the bed was great, we very much enjoyed sitting in the backyard under the stars. Close to the shops and restaurants but very quiet. Previous reviews mention the dogs - lots of people seem to have them but barking wasnt excessive or prolonged. Was a little nervous about the other reviews regarding dog barking, but didn’t hear anything. Maybe that’s a summer time barking thing. Cabin was great, host very responsive and helpful with information. Host left the heater on for are late arrival so it was ready to go upon arrival. Claw foot bathtub was in great shape with a “rain” shower head. Parking right next to porch for easy load in. A couple other cute touches setup by the host, but don’t want to spoil the cute surprises for you. Will definitely come back to this cabin in the future. ##### Mike O. There were blankets and cocoa and microwave popcorn waiting for us. There were also dog treats, dog poop bags, and a toy by the front door. It was very peaceful except for the dogs in the neighboring houses yards barking every time they saw something move. The TV was difficult to use. I'm not sure if it was the internet signal strength or something else but honestly we didn't watch much TV. The fireplace was a very nice addition to help us relax. There were two easy start logs ready for us to use. We did. The yard was completely fenced in and safe for our 5-month-old puppy to run around and have the time of her life. The place came with a vacuum cleaner for us to clean up after ourselves but it was extremely loud so we didn't use it much and it didn't really work well to begin with. I just used a broom. The kitchen was well stocked had all the dishes and seasonings and appliances that we could ever need plus there was a Keurig machine with coffee cups creamers and sugars. I loved it! It was a very quiet neighborhood except for the dogs of course. We came up here for a nature getaway and that's exactly what we got. The owners/hosts communicated very well and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely be back ##### Michael B.
