« We had a great stay with an awesome view. There were plenty of beds and all were very comfy. The location was close to hit the trails for riding. The kids had fun playing the arcade and board games. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, and trash bags. All of the cabinets and drawers were labeled which was a nice touch. Thanks for the hospitality! »

« The cabin is wonderful. Very cute and decorted to make it sooo cozy. Loved the hot tub and the rocking chairs on the porch. Did get to see a barge on the river. Only complaint is the yard needs weedeated. Cant really mow it so weedeat it and cut some low limbs and it would be perfect. »

« I booked this place as a surprise anniversary get away. We loved our stay here. We enjoyed staying in watching The Lord of the Rings right next to the beautiful hobbit door! We also enjoyed venturing out to some great State Parks: Less than 10 minutes from Lake Dardanelle and about 45 min from Petit Jean. The Hobbit House also seemed like it would be a great getaway for a family or friends who love Tolkien. Kitchen is great if you want to cook your own meals and the couches and bed are comfy....

« Me and my wife were looking for a nice weekend getaway. And found Gwen and Bear’s Cabin listed. The Cabin is right down the mountain from Petit Jean State Park. Which was exactly what we were looking for! The privacy of the cabin and the woods and small stream next to the cabin were also great! All around was an awesome experience and we will definitely be booking again! »

« We were a group of six adults on our annual motorcycle trip. This house served all of our needs separate bedrooms the 2 1/2 baths were great. Location was beautiful with lake Dardenelle in the backyard. There was extra toilet paper and paper towels. There was laundry soap provided, and dryer sheets. Plenty of towels. Icemaker was awesome. The only thing keeping me from giving it a five star overall was just a few up keeps the drawer in the refrigerator was broken. The dishwasher soap latch...

« Couldn’t ask for a more peaceful place. Beautiful views. Larry, the host, was great. There was almost anything you needed that was supplied by Larry. Different shampoos, conditioners, fishing gear, coffee and many other things. Cabin is perfect for 1 or 2 people. »

« The house was beautiful, everything we needed. The garage was perfect for the bikes after a day of exploring the hills. Great area at night to prepare meals and relax with cocktails. We travel extensively, always choosing VRBO’s so we have a base camp, so-to-speak.
