Tupelo - Hand hewn private log cabin with views

  • Appalachian style hand-hewn log cabin in beautiful Hocking Hills. Located on a private ridge top with spectacular views and ultimate privacy. This unit sleeps up to six with three queen beds, one in first floor bedroom and two in the loft area.

    Municipal water (not well water)!!

    Well behaved pets are welcome but require an additional pet fee per reservation that will need to be selected when you make your reservation.

    The three cabins are nestled on a 1/4 mile long ridge top on an 80 acre wooded property. Guests are encouraged to explore the ridge top and to take advantage of the common fire pit at the end of the ridge with a fantastic view. Each cabin also has its own private fire pit which is stocked with split firewood.

    Our cabins have been built and inspected by commercial standards as required by the State of Ohio. Have peace of mind knowing your family's safety is a number one concern of ours.

Very secluded, but close enough to most of our trails we were interested in hiking. It was the most at peace I have been in awhile. One of our hosts chatted with me about places to eat and hike. Overall a great experience!

Amazing vacation

Our vacation to hocking hills may have been short but it was such an amazing time. The location was beautiful and the cabin was absolutely perfect! We have already started making plans for another vacation back at this cabin.

Wonderful Extended Weekend!

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at this log cabin. Beautifully built, clean, private location and relatively close to all the Hocking Hills sights made for an enjoyable getaway! Would recommend to everyone.

Really lovely cabin and area, was JUST what we were looking for. Cabin is private, with an amazing view for our visit in February. Everything was very clean and organized, just what you need along with some extras and personal touches from the owner. Already sent the listing to another friend! Would love to come back but next time we will bring motorcycles!! :)

Our Long Weekend

We loved the seclusion of the property being surrounded by the peaceful woods and the rustic cabin feel . We relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed the evenings sitting outside around the bonfire .We also enjoyed our hikes in the Hocking Hills area and will plan to come back again with family and friends.

Great property! Loved the location. Secluded yet only 20-30 min drive to all Hocking Hills activities and towns. 10 mins from Logan. Excellent craftsmanship on the cabin. Super clean and complete amenities.

Beautiful Cabin

We stayed in the cabin for a long weekend to spend some time with our oldest son who is at OU. The cabin is amazing and just as it was described on the site. Beautiful views from the ridge and a perfect place to stay. We'll definitely be back.

Cozy cabin in Hocking Hills

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone interested in visiting the Hocking Hills area! It was close to the state park, downtown Logan, and the surrounding communities. It was perfect for our family and we enjoyed the property and the hot tub! Perfect for our pup too! We will definitely rent again next time we visit.

Wonderful cabin and location

We had an amazing stay - and got engaged during our visit, and the location was absolutely perfect for that! The cabin is beautifully constructed with hand hewn logs and the bathroom is gorgeous - beds are super comply too. Owner was terrific and very patient as I spent the first 30 minutes trying to gain entry to the wrong cabin :) We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure!

Nice Cabin

Very nice new cabin in the woods. Private setting with two other cabins on property but very far apart so you can’t even see them. Interior of cabin was very nice and appreciate that the cabin was well stocked with extra toiletries, towels and some essentials in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again. Great family getaway

The cabin and grounds are beautiful! We stayed for a couple nights with our children and had a great time. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities needed for cooking, etc. The views are fantastic! We'll be back! 😁

Family getaway

We had a great time! Cabin was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. It was secluded and our puppy could roam freely and was able to see over the horizon in several locations. The cabin was a little further drive (about 25-30 min) to hocking hills but it was worth it. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful cabin!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The cabin has everything you could need, including plenty of dishes and pots/pans for cooking, lots of towels, some movies and games, etc. It is incredibly clean and looks even better than in the pictures. We had a great time!!
