We would have used the kitchen for more cooking if it had been a longer trip. The enclosure for the hot tub was really nice and private and my son even used it as his "headquarters" when he played. We got a lot of play time in the creek also. The covered porch was so nice with all the rainy weather, and we absolutely loved listening to it on the tin roof! It’s right down the road from the visitors center. The neighborhood was very quiet. It’s stocked with most things that you need. The washer and dryer came in handy. Also a few restaurants near by. The hot tub was okay, all the jets don't work in any of the seats so its not as relaxing and rejuvenating as you would think. The trees over the fire ring need to be trimmed to safely have a fire. The beds are decent but could use an upgrade. During our stay some people showed up to do some things in the house, there was a miscommunication within the team and they didnt realize we were there. They didn’t invade our space or come in so I'm not sure what was planned on being done. The wifi was great and much appreciated so my son could do his online schooling. The only "negatives" I would say were there was no hand soap in the bathroom and no sponges or washrags to do the dishes, but those are very minimal things. I would recommend bringing your own water to drink because the water there smells like rotten eggs. Other than that it was very clean and accommodating. ##### Amy S. The light over the hot tub was out so had to sit in the dark then we closed the fence to the hot tub patio and the latch was broken, we had to hop the fence to get out, locked in, exhaust fan in bathroom did not work, this was reported on Sunday and still not fixed by Thursday when we left. Having the light above the hot tub would have made it a lot more convenient to use when we got back late after a long day of hiking. ##### Mary M.
