"A very welcoming greeting upon arrival. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of storage space. The breakfast was very good and certainly set you up for the day. I didn’t eat in the pub for an evening meal, but it was a very quaint country pub, full of atmosphere. The menu choices looked very good, and if the breakfast was anything to go by I’m sure the meals would be very good too. Highly recommend the old inn."

"We really enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Hotel, our standard room was of a very generous size, much bigger than a lot of hotels which was very pleasing. The Hotel throughout was spotlessly clean, and the food was excellent, the staff were very helpful, and the cost was very reasonable, there was always plenty of parking spaces in the car park, and we will definitely visits again, the Hotel exceeded our expectations."

"NEVER STAY IN THIS HELL HOLE. even the welcome mat had a 3 foot hole in it lol the room was old, ripped wall paper, many things was broken, the furniture was old and broken. most and I think illegal, due to fire regulations was the windows was restricted to opening 3 inches, with blocks and screws, we would have had no fire escape if the fire was on our 2nd floor landing, We had no sleep in the two nights stay as it was over 40 degrees in the room with no air paint flaking off radiators, broken glass in the doors the staff was rude and non caring the food was terrible, served a salad that was wilted and not fit to eat, day they messed up our breakfast and gave us fish , instead of bacon we left after 2 days of a 6 day stay"

The host was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was also very good and provided a great start to each day. "We LOVED this hotel. Easy parking on a weekend, lovely courtyard room big enough for myself and 3 friends walking the SW coast path. Nice easy check in procedure and SUCH a delicious breakfast. It felt very premium, but for a good value price. It was perfect for us, this was a one night stop en route on the coast path for us, but we wish we’d travelled back to stay here again the second night. Buses very easy right outside the hotel to get along to different destinations on the SW coast path too. High recommend."
