It was perfect for my family which includes two teen daughters. The beds were nice and comfy. It is best to stop at a bigger town to get groceries if you plan on cooking since the closest store has limited supplies. The weather ( mid June ) was perfect for hiking or taking a road trip through the forest . I would definitely stay here again . ##### Elena F. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. It is a remote-ish area, so there is no cell signal, though the WiFi works well. The shower is a little inaccessible for folks with mobility issues but is definitely functional. Overall, a wonderful stay for my family and I. Everytime we thought, "I wonder if they have this thing," they did! Nice big windows keeping the cabin flooded with natural light. It’s a nice little woodland community with such easy access to Rainier. Nature even conspired to keep us off our phones by felling a tree on the power lines outside the cabin. 10/10 ##### Christine F. Stayed 3 nights in Mar 2023 ### 10/10 Excellent #### leslie d. The surround of windows brought the woods into the cabin. We relaxed into the luxury of the hot tub, the new overstuffed electric recliners, the warm glow of the excellent wood stove, the the big screen with WiFi, and the comfortable beds. The olden day decor gave us a trip into the past. The neighborhood was quiet and dwellings spaced to give privacy. Yes, we will come back! ##### leslie d. It was a bit nerve racking to not be able to lock the glass door at the front of the house. We had everything we needed. There was dog poop around the driveways and the fire pit was completely covered so couldn’t use. The hot tub was a bit dirty and the lights went off in the gazebo. Overall it was a great getaway ##### Kathlene Stayed 5 nights in Dec 2023 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Lars L. Mar 19, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Cozy and eclectic We loved the uniqueness of the cabin and decor in and outside the cabin. Just the right amount of fun. The cabin has lots of natural sunlight, and the beds are comfy. There weren’t any matches or lighters that we could find to light the fireplace, but we lucked out as the weather was beautiful! There can also be lingering smoke in the neighborhood from everyone burning wood stoves. It is a great location to visit the park as paradise is only ~30 mins away. ##### Lars L. Stayed 2 nights in Mar 2023 ### 6/10 Okay #### Hannah K. Aug 10, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location Disliked: Check-in #### Not bad Cute cozy cabin with a great location close to Mt Rainier. Lot of good lighting during the day with nice windows. Check in was a little difficult because they did not let us know the front glass door was broken so cannot go in through there. AC was not working and the shower drain is very clogged. Also a lot of bugs but probably can’t do much about this in the woods. ##### Hannah K. Stayed 2 nights in Aug 2024 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Summer L. Aug 7, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### A wonderful wooded getaway. This cabin was cozy and comfortable, a perfect blend of rustic style and modern convenience in a beautiful wooded setting just a few minutes' drive from Mt. Rainier National Park. Check in was super easy, and check out was simple, too. There is one double bed downstairs. The second one is in the loft accessed by a ladder, which should be a consideration for parties with limited mobility, but the loft is cozy and comfortable and I enjoyed claiming it as my space for our visit. :) Plenty of extra blankets are provided for cool evenings. The kitchen is stocked with all kinds of pots and pans fir meal prep. Lots of windows and skylights provide plenty of light and are screened if you want to enjoy fresh air. It's a very comfortable place to stay. ##### Summer L. Stayed 2 nights in Jul 2023 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Deborah B. Once I changed my mindset to more of a campy feel, it was really great! Bathroom is older, and the place didn’t feel as clean as I like it, but it was really nice to sit outside by the campfire with the family. It’s close to the base of Mount Rainier and the neighborhood is nice. ##### Becky G.
