« Just came back from a great stay at one of the cottages. Rosa was a pleasure. Met us a minute after we arrived and showed us how everything worked. The cottage is quiet and remote but just a few minutes outside Selfoss which was a lovely little town with everything you could need. It’s a few minutes from Rt 1 so if you’re traveling around, it’s a great location. Would absolutely stay there again if given the chance. »

« We stayed five nights in April 2024. We were treated to the Northern Lights our first night. The house is spacious, clean and modern. The beds are very comfortable. It sleeps ten in beds. The area is super quiet. The hot tub is pristine. The host was great and had good documents. The trash/recycling system could be a little more well documented. We did the golden circle, two hot springs and the southern beaches (where we saw Puffins!) Great stay, thanks so much! »

« Le propriétaire très gentil. Le cottage est sublime. Tout en bois quel charme. Le jacuzzi sur la terrasse est génial et possibilité de régler la température pas comme tous les cottages d’Islande ou ils sont souvent bouillants. Petite maison cocooning. Très bon emplacement pas loin de plusieurs activités. Tout est à disposition il ne manquait rien. Décoration de Noël à disposition. Tout est parfait. Même le ménage. Excellent séjour. Merci »

« So it’s my twins 21st birthday and I wanted to do something memorable. So I took them to Iceland and stayed at an amazing VRBO. Here are my top 3 reasons for 5 stars: 1. Location - it’s in a town that’s close to some of the main geologic attractions in Iceland (Gulfoss, the south coast, etc.). The town also has a supermarket and some surprisingly good restaurants (even a mushroom farmer who has a family restaurant). 2. The quality of the VRBO. Plenty of room for 5 adults in a new neighborhood...

« The house is perfect for a family stay. The view is spectacular. We were able to see the Northern Lights from the back porch four nights! Very convenient to the Golden circle for day trips to waterfalls,black sand beach,glaciers and so much more. Perfect place to enjoy beautiful Iceland. Thank you Soffia »
