"Full breakfast prepared by host Stefan. Everything was delicious and homemade. Property is very clean and in walking distance to downtown and the ferry.Nice room with comfortable bed and smart tv. Across the street is a cul de sac park with beach perfect for watching the sunsets. Nice front porch for relaxing. Common area is nice too. Host Stefan was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns to make our stay comfortable. "

"If you are looking for an exceptional home to create lasting memories...Knot Just A Cottage is the ONE!!From the moment you pull into the driveway you feel an immediate sense of "Wow"! Upon entering, your feelings are confirmed!! The attention to every detail is beyond description! The kitchen is fantastic! The outdoor living spaces are gorgeous and so comfy! The flowers and landscaping are exquisite. Every amenity for lake fun is at your disposal! Bedrooms are all appointed with excellent bedding and comfort. The master suite is a dream!! The mattress is incredible; the view spectacular and the shower are divine!! We have traveled the country renting VRBO's and KJAC is without question, top level excellence! The owner is delightful and makes you feel welcomed from the get-go! I literally cried when our time was up! Longing to go back...."

"This is an attractive property with plenty of parking. About a mile from the town center, it is convenient to area attractions. The standard rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. The breakfast area is not large but the extended hours means it is not crowded. Beverages are available 24 hours. The kids enjoyed the well maintained indoor pool and the hotel provided extra towels at no charge."

"A picture may be worth a thousand words but a picture is still a picture and can never quite capture the setting. This is certainly the case with this cabin. It is cozy without being claustrophobic and roomy without being sterile. It is comfortable and up to date and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The care taken to provide interesting toys and games for younger children was not something we had experienced before. There were also outdoor games which we appreciated and used. We don’t often spend time in the yard of a rental but that was not the case with the cabin. The porches and yard are inviting and not fussy. The neighborhood was very nice and even the neighbors were quite friendly. It was great for evening walks. As beautiful as the Michigan beaches were, having access to the private beach which was only a few blocks away was an asset – one which we made good use of. Oh, if you have an interest in architecture, take note of the walls which are purposely canted in at a slight angle! Finally, upon our return home we received this text from our daughter: "I had the best time in Michigan. Thank you again for planning a trip to such a lovely place! I can’t wait go back.” No doubt the cabin was a big part in creating the “best time”!"
