Hotel Emilia

"beautiful ,tranquille, clean and well maintained. Staff was great"

Fortino Napoleonico
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel and staff were fantastic. But there is a hidden secret. Walk out of the hotel to the ocean front. Turn right and up and over the garden, down a short path and left at the caravan park and you will come across the best beach bar ever. La Spiaggina. The owner is a great young man who works very hard. They are helpful. And Kind. THIS IS A MUST VISIT BAR"

Hotel Fortuna

"Great location and good staff"

The City Hotel Ancona
10/10 Excellent
"Great location in the centre, near the bus station and at most 30 min walk from most attractions. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is great - fruit, yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, salad, pastries, bread, cake, juice, water, coffee. Most staff were lovely, some could learn to smile or at least pretend to be happy."

Cavour Suites
10/10 Excellent
"The suite is very close to the centre. I had a full apartment with a separate bedroom and a working kitchen. Check in is done electronically and a passcode is sent. The process was very easy. If I needed to communicate with the staff, I used WhatsApp. Very useful as they were very helpful, as when I asked about restaurant recommendations. A lovely place to stay for my 3 nights."

SeePort Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The room was fine, although there were some loud people upstairs slamming doors all night. The hotel is very beautiful with a wonderful view. However, the food was terrible and the service was also awful for dinner. Breakfast was a different story with lots of choices and wonderful food."

Hotel Touring Falconara Marittima

Albergo Cantiani
10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean. The bed was good. Breakfast was good. Shower was good. The thing that stood out to me was the service and the staff. They were friendly. In a town not as geared toward tourists as, say, Venice, they were ready for us. Their English is good. But we always greeted each other with "Buongiorno" and "Buona serra." They recommended a great restaurant nearby. They let us store our luggage after we checked out so we could walk around town for a couple hours before it was time to catch our train. Breakfast has a wide variety of food, all of which was good. I noticed that what they called "American coffee" was (happily) stronger on our second morning than our first. The cappuccino was a better choice for the first morning. They have an excellent espresso machine downstairs, which they use for cappuccino, and for hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is quite good, but they charge extra for that, so be aware. There's a charge for that and room taxes when you check out. The neighborhood is diverse with plenty of East Asian and Middle Eastern immigrants, and there is a wide variety of restaurants within a 5-10 walk from the hotel. It's about a 30-minute walk uphill, then downhill, to downtown, but downtown has a great view of the Adriatic, along with some great sights. It's worth the hike. I would stay here again. Recommended."

Grand Hotel Palace
10/10 Excellent
"The property is in great condition, but the area by the historic center is pretty run down. Surprisingly, there are a few good jewelry shops and restaurants there. The hotel is right by the port so convenient if you need to travel to other countries. The breakfast offered was excellent with many selections for pastries, fruits, cheese, bread, meat, and coffee including options for soy and almond milk. You can also get made to order eggs and pancakes. Amenities are great, providing toiletries, robe, and slippers. Shout out to Alicia for her exquisite restaurant recommendations, what to see, and making us feel welcomed, including welcoming our service dog. Notably, you have to pay for a cleaning fee although the stay was free for our service dog. Annalisa was also helpful at checkout. "
