"My first room had a real bad mildew smell. I advised the front desk and they changed my room and it was perfect. Since I paid for a higher floor but switched to a lower due smell they also provided late check out. Great service!"

"During my stay there was a fire and we had to evactuate. I got separated from my son and I found him in a matter of minutes, but after evryone was allowed to go back into their rooms, I later recieved a call fom the front desk to ensure that I fouind my son. There was a lot going on and the staff handled this better then the Fire Department and the Police! I will be staying here again!"

"When we arrived to our room 606 there were metal pieces hanging out from below the bedding - I almost cut myself on it and we had our 2 sons with us who had they hit it they would have been hurt. My husband and I worked on it till the metal pieces weren't hanging out so no one would get hurt. I do have pictures of this Otherwise we loved staying here and will return on our next trip down."

"My boyfriend & I stayed the weekend here. We were on the 11th floor. Our room was very clean, stocked with wine glasses. I couldn’t have dreamed of anything better considering the great rate for when we booked. "

"I traveled to Virginia Beach for my Graduation from Regent University with my family. This hotel was everything. The staff was friendly, patient and energetic. The pool was nice, the free breakfast was robust and absolutely wonderful, the rooms were spacious and there is a shopping center with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. My travel to my college was 12 minutes so over all it was totally convenient. I will definitely return! I loved it!"

"Bathroom sink faucet was not wiped down. There seemed to be just a tiny bit of sand on the sheets but being at the beach it is hard to keep up with. Otherwise clean."

"This was my second time staying here for my birthday weekend getaway and it was almost even better than the first time! The staff was very friendly and accomodating, the room was clean and I was actually surprised that room service came to each room without having to be asked. The breakfast at the Garden Grille is great! I had a voucher the first time but it is still worth the money to pay for it (because there is a cost)! I love this hotel and definitely will continue rooming here in the...

"Great place to stay! Indoor and outdoor pools would be great for young family. We enjoyed the whirlpool and the pools as well. Loved people watching and listening to the waves from our balcony. One car free parking was an extra bonus and even a 7eleven across the street for snacks! If you’re a Naval buff, the trip to Nauticus in Norfolk was an easy trip from the hotel."
