The front desk staff and the breakfast staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
Our room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable, albeit small, however we spent most of our time outdoors therefore room size was not of significant concern.
The hotel's location was in a quiet neighbourhood with close proximity to transportation and local sites.
The complimentary breakfast was much more fulsome than we expected, and well-beyond a typical continental breakfast.
We did experience one very unusual event shortly after checking in. When we were in our room for a brief rest, a member of the housekeeping staff (we presume, although we didn't actually see the individual) knocked on our door and entered our room before we had a chance to respond. After she opened the door, we called out to her and she indicated that she was conducting "mini-bar control" (even though we had just check-in and the room was fully cleaned and the bar re-stocked. We did report the incident to the front desk and subsequently placed the "do not disturb" sign on our door for the remainder of our stay.
