"Super convenient location for alishan train, night market and tourist attractions. The hotel only owns a couple floors of the building so you share the lift with other businesses to reception. They have internal lifts to the rooms itself. The entrance itself looked dodgy but when you get to the reception floor it looked like a nice place to stay at. Super good value stay. "

We stayed in both the Superior Quadruple Room and Superior Double Room across 3 nights, and they were both lovely. The Double room felt like it was a bit newer/cleaner, with plush tatami, while the Quadruple room was amazing but felt a bit worn out with one of the Japanese seating pillows having a really faint smell of urine? "Clean room and great location, close to a lot of nearby attractions like Fenqi Lake, walking trails, tea tasting and Sakura blossoms (in Feb to March). delicious breakfast with homemade eggs, chicken, mashed potato, fries, porridge, coffee, soy milk, bread, etc. walking distance to a great sunrise spot. I will be thinking of the hot pot dinner, lots of delicious homegrown mountain veggies. Staff are super friendly."

"My room overlooking the village's central area provided interesting views into local life. Breakfast was available at the hotel's modest restaurant across the street. Helpful staff showed me the ingredients so I could build my own breakfast since I could not complete their Chinese language menu. The bathroom had its own onsen tub, so I did not use the spa."

"The room is spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. The hosts were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The property is away from the main road, so it’s quiet, but it’s still a walkable distance to the main attractions. It’s uphill to the bus stop and the attractions, but the host will pick up and deliver your luggage to and from the bus stop. They were really nice."

"We had a bad experience finding the registration office. We came in from a different entrance (#2). There was no sign that the registration office is in a complete different building. My poor old mom had difficulty in walking had to waste her energy in going up and downhill with me trying to ask people and looking for the registration place. We only had a difficult time at the beginning. We enjoyed the rest of the staying because the staff were very nice and the food was great. "
