"I originally thought I had booked my room on this sight but when I got there they didn’t have my booking - totally my fault. The lady at the front desk told me they did not have the room I was after, until I showed her that it showed available on this app. She then said she’d have to clean it. "Room was fine. Little bit of shower door seal was missing so bathroom floor got very wet from shower. Least favorable part of stay was Pippins restaurant—cooks didn’t seem to know what was on menu—I order Sunday Roast “beef with horseradish sauce”—came with no sauce. I requested & heard cook telling waiter that that sauce was just for the chicken. What?! I ordered a gin& tonic, used half of tonic, ordered another gin to use up tonic, was presented with & charged for another bottle of tonic—waiter said he’d take it back, but it remained on bill. What?! Then, in lobby I had started reading a paperback book on a table near chairs, assumed the 6 or 8 books there were a book exchange, asked staff at desk and they said no, it was part of decor. Again, what?! So, hotel is fine, but staff training seems to be lacking. Plus…the taxi they ordered for us seemed inordinately expensive. More than black cab; twice as much as Uber. Hotel location is good, looks nice, was comfortable bed, good water pressure, but you just need to not depend on staff to know what’s what I think. "

"We paid around £21 for breakfast and it was a disaster. No variety of fresh fruits, conserves... Cold meat one 1 type which was as pale as a dead person. Floor dirty. You can clearly see the staff if not paying attention to the cleansiness or taking pride. We ended up having one porridge. The rest looked like left ober from the previous day. Before my arrival, I wrote an email to the hotel with some request and also pointing the a website error. Wrote to the email pointed in the website. I had no reply. When I checked in, I mentioned I am still waiting for a reply but I would love a reply from management. STILL WAITING... Other Novotels offer a completely "

"Excellent location at Chelsea FC stadium. The staff was nice and room clean. The shower and toilet both need maintenance. Toilet required several flushes and shower water stream was constant 50/50 between going to tub and shower, but good hot water. We would stay here again based on location and friendly staff."

"Bailey’s Hotel was wonderful. We were first timers to London and the hotel location was perfect for walking to the many sites or taking the Tube which was directly across the street. The room was comfy and quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was nice for a late night cocktail. Breakfast was delicious although we just ate there once in our week long stay. Would definitely stay here again."

"Overall our stay was fairly good. The staff were excellent; friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The location was excellent with a tube station and tourist bus close by. The Executive room we stayed in however, was below the standard we expected. The refrigerator didn’t work. Some bathroom tiles were held on with adhesive tape. The bath and surrounds were chipped in parts and had been poorly repaired. The chrome had worn off the tap over the vanity. The welcome which came up on our television each morning greeted people other than ourselves. This was a little off putting and was in no way welcoming for us."
