"As photographer and kayaker, this location was ideal for my exploration of Benson Lake. I managed to journey my way by water through the lake and discover it's treasures. Many areas of calm water barely disturbed by the wind provides stunning reflections. An orchestra of a wide variety of birds kept me entertained in the quiet and undisturbed sound of nature. The location also provided quick trips to surrounding trails for hiking and other lakes and rivers for more kayaking. I only had 3 nights of stay in the spring, but I am sure to return in the autumn to indulge more with the lovely fall colours."

"This is a small family run motel and you can see they are trying hard to make a go of it. They were quite responsive to requests. For the most part room was very clean but they need to clean fan in bathroom. Hubby loved the TV set up. Kitchen was adequate for our needs and price was right. Would stay again."
