« Great hotel with character. It was nice and quiet. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Andrew was very accommodating and made us welcome. The rooms were very clean and modern. We were there on May bank holiday weekend, the hottest of the year and were provided with fans for our rooms which came in very handy. I would recommend the Queenswood Hotel for sure. »

« It was accommodation only. We had key code to let you in. Didnt see the owner at all. Bedroom was small but adequate. Ensuite was small. Bed was not that comfortable but it was very clean. »

« Really nice stay for a “rest and recharge” getaway. The shepherds hut was exactly as the pictures - clean and tidy when we arrived. The owners had a folder with all the useful information we would need during our stay (how to use the hot tub, location for waste and recycling bins, nearby public footpaths etc). A nice secluded area from the rest of the property to allow for privacy. I would definitely recommend and consider again for a couple’s holiday. »

« The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. We were sadly there as dad was in palliative care..We had flown in from canada, with broken leg, they let us check in early and were very kind. Room was great for accessibility but it did smell a bit musty/damp - but then had wet room so maybe that is why. »
