"Property was beautiful, room was old in bldg 3 and poorly maintained. Pool was nice. Bar does not serve food after 430 but still happy hour. Doesn't make sense. Only option is the resteraunte which is only mediocre. Not much option. Beach is pretty but not a beach to relax on or go into water. Kinda disappointed."

"We recently spent 3 days at Ko’a Kea Resort in Kauai and was disappointed with the experience. The property looked much older and smaller than it appears online, and the “ocean view” room was quite far from the water. The pool area was very small, with not enough chairs for guests—we had to place towels on the ground to sit. Additionally, the pool bar was out of service one of the three days of our stay. When I raised concerns about the room not matching the photos, no meaningful solution or compensation was offered. I still had a wonderful trip overall, but the hotel was not a highlight. The one standout was the restaurant Red Salt, which was excellent."

"This cottage is rich in culture and amenities! But would I stay here again? No. The cottage curtains had mold in them. Our allergies kept acting up. They don’t do daily housekeeping unless you stay here for more than 4 days. They give you free laundry detergent and you can wash! That was awesome."

"Absolutely beautiful hotel! The view was worth every penny! Nice rooms. Had an ocean view. A pool area for kids and a big swimming pool and hot tub."

"Great location to swim in the ocean at anytime due to the beach cove. Walking distance to restaurants, local markets and trails along the shore. The hotel itself and the rooms are a little on the older side but bathrooms are renovated and are a good size. Staff members are professional. Housekeeping staff is very helpful and friendly. One downside, the restaurant is only open for breakfast and the beach bar is missing some more healthy food options on their menu."
