Ysgubor is nestled away on a peaceful 24-acre farm in Dolanog, a great choice for families or couples looking to escape and reconnect with nature. Just over 8 miles from Welshpool and 3 miles from Llanfair Caereinion, the property offers an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. Ysgubor is the perfect place to sit back, recharge after a day out exploring and enjoy one of the famous Mid Wales sunsets.  
  
The homely interior has been nicely decorated and features a spacious, open plan modern kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a lovely meal, with plenty of worktop space. There are two living rooms with TVs, so everyone can choose what they want to watch. One has a cosy electric wood burner, and they both have lots of seating for everyone to relax, with French doors leading out to the outside patio areas. There’s also a useful ground floor toilet and utility. The property sleeps up to six guests in three cosy bedrooms, one master bedroom with a double bed, the second being a bunk room, both leading into a shared en-suite shower room. The third bedroom can be set up as a super-king or as twins with its own en-suite shower room. Step outside the house and you’ll find the two south-facing patio areas which boast far reaching country views – the perfect place to unwind. Enjoy walks around the farm and surrounding countryside.  
  
Ride the steam train from Llanfair Caereinion to Welshpool or take the short drive to the stunning Lake Vyrnwy, where you can try your hand at water sports and cycling or enjoy a leisurely walk and a good lunch. Powis Castle, which started life as a medieval fortress, is a must, especially for its beautiful gardens and collection of paintings, sculpture, furniture, and tapestries. Other popular attractions a little further afield include Llanrhaeadr Waterfall (the tallest in the UK), Portmeirion and the Mountains of Snowdonia, the Centre for Alternative Technology and King Arthur’s Labyrinth. Ysgubor is the perfect, blissful escape. Pub and restaurant 3 miles.
