"Bridget, the motel manager, was lovely—she called ahead to check our arrival time and made sure everything was perfect with the room. The place has been nicely renovated. We drove, so we’re not sure about nearby facilities, but Wanaka is absolutely beautiful.

$10 to rent a kitchen package (plates, pots etc.). How bout $$10 refundable deposit. ( A surprise for travelers blowing through…. Where every other stop all was provided).
Cabin was nice but no towels. Showers were $1 increasing to $2.

"We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in Luggate. It’s modern and new, but still warm and cozy. The kitchen was very well stocked, which made cooking easy, and we really appreciated the tea, coffee, cookies, and milk provided on arrival.The interior was beautiful, the beds were very comfortable, and the living space was great for relaxing. The bathroom was spacious and well-designed. Everything was spotless and felt eco-friendly and well thought out.Luggate is a charming, quiet spot, just a short drive from Wanaka—close to everything but away from the crowds.Ellen was great to communicate with, even from overseas, and she had a lovely local friend who was also super helpful. The hosts truly thought of everything. We’d happily stay again!"
"Amazing location, if you are into beautiful walks along the river then this is the ideal place to stay. Miss 11 y.o loved having 4 square next door and we loved our delicious coffee at the cafe but take your keep cup as they charge 1 for a take away cup. Accomodation was perfect bonus having a washing machine/ drier. Definitely will come back and stay. "
