"Very clean!! Can walk to the slopes. It was summer and walked to the lift for the scenic ride. Mexican restaurant easy walking distance. Great view. Can see mountains and watch cars go by. Large TV in living room and bedroom!!"

My husband and I very much enjoyed our one night at the Hacienda. Pluses were the stylish decor in a unique building, beautiful linens on a very comfortable bed, the large inviting lounge with its oversized couches, delicious packaged biscotti, and overall tranquility of the Hacienda. We had a wonderful dinner at the Love Apple restaurant next door, thanks to Tony for his recommendation, and a nice breakfast of egg, premade tamales, and chocolate croissant the next morning. The room was mostly excellent except that they had the heat blasting when we arrived, which was on an afternoon when it was 25 C outside, claiming that it had been cold a few days earlier. Also, there was no fridge in the room.

There is a much larger sister hotel and conference centre in Taos but don't do it. Choose this property and take a shuttle over for the hot tub, salt water pool and/or dinner but stay in this adorable quaint historic bed and breakfast (and a full breakfast IS included). This property was beyond my expectations. Quality, very clean, very unique!
