"Pros: - cleaning staff and management exceptionally friendly, warm and welcoming. -good location if youre walking around the city -great breakfast variety/quality and staff Cons -front desk staff were very short and unfriendly. I called before my stay to confirm if I could check in early, confirm pool availabilty and to inquire about some upgrades. The staff member on the phone was incredibly short with me and basically hung up. Had an attitude of "obviously you can check in early, ofcourse we have a pool?" -check in staff at the hotel were very short and seemed more annoyed than helpful. -ameneties were not available - despite calling ahead to confirm availability. Pool room / gym were closed. Staff held the door and let me in the room despite it being closed...thankfully the pool had caution tape so I knew not to go in, but the staff did not say anything or stop me from entering the area. A simple "sorry miss the pool is closed" could have sufficed. When asking front desk about the pool they just told me to check back again later. I continued to try and go to the pool area another 3 times to find out it was still closed. When I first called the front desk about the pool they told me to just wait a couple hours. I wish they had been honest and just said it was going to be closed for a long time. "

"AC appeared to be fixed at a temperature not cool enough for me. No snack bar in room. No tv instructions and had to guess programs. Room billing varied each day. Never seen such a method. Would advise inquiring prior to booking. Parking per day $35/day when public is $25/day that was next door."

"The room was clean and nice but so small that it felt like sleeping in a closet. The entrance door was one foot away from the bed. Even though they had my credit card on file I was asked for a physical card to pay a deposit which was a problem as i only had my phone to pay. Luckily I had my physical debit card to use. Convenient location though :)"

"The rooms were excellent, clean and spacious. The view of the CN tower from our room made our trip sweeter and the lake right behind the hotel was just icing on the cake, They didn’t have a lot of amenities but overall we enjoyed our stay :) "
