"The motel is in an deal location handy to local restaurants and other facilities. The unit was ideal for ourselves and our adult daughter - plenty of room for all of us. An ideal location as a rest stop before catching the esrly ferry to wellington. Clean and tidy room including a spacious bathroom."

"Edit is a very nice place to stay, and I've had awesome stays in the past. The room we received however was quite dated, and dusty, with a shower that was very reminiscent of the 60s... The room is referenced as a 'budget' room, but I still expected more given my previous experience at the same hotel and amount I was spending on the room. The bed was clean, but the amount of dust behind the bed and on the floor was pretty surprising. The staff were lovely, and I would stay again - however, I would want to ensure I got a room which had been renovated."

"Location was good. I never saw any staff so can't comment on that, kitchen facilities seemed good and communal areas were nice room was pretty basic but clean. Shared coed toilets and showers were pretty unpleasant, broken toilet seats etc. I've given a pretty low rating because i did not feel safe here as a solo female. It appears to be used as homeless accommodation and there are a few men staying there long term- there was a man sitting outside my room all the time. I was scared to leave my room to use the coed bathroom at night and actually ended up having nightmares about it. Don't recommend to solo female travellers it's a bit too scary. There is no one ever at reception."

"Room was disgusting. Dirt and dust beside fridge hasn't been cleaned in years by the looks No sink. Had to rinse your dishes in bathroom..Very poor layout Don't stay upstairs. All I heard was people walking up and down. No toilet roll on holder. Toilet seat was falling off. I would not recommend this property "
