"We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Hillcrest cottage. It is exactly as shown in the listing. We loved the hot tub and sitting around the fire outside on the terrace watching the stars! Although it seems quite isolated it is less than half an hour’s stroll from Dunston and a few minutes further to Metheringham. The cottage and the views were stunning and we would highly recommend!"

VRBO on the other hand mislead us by assuring us that the property was mobility accessible which it was not.. This created significant problems for the severely dialed member of the group and the carer. We double checked accessibility just weeks prior to arrival date and were again assured the property was accessible. It was not."

"8 of us came here to celebrate a joint birthday over a long weekend. The house was gorgeous, clean,spacious, beautiful surroundings and of course the amazing hot tub! Not criticism but helpful to know if you're planning a visit- take extra towels with you. They do provide towels and bathrobes but no washing machine facility, so after a hot tub dip you have to use the same towel the next morning. They provided us with a cake, loaf of bread and butter, which was great, but not many other pantry...

The location is fantastic for exploring Lincolnshire, we enjoyed days out at tattershall water park, jubilee park, hired bikes and rode to Horncastle on the spa trail and the beach at Anderby Creek was really nice. "The location of this immaculate property was perfect. Step out of the front door (on Steep Hill) and you are right in the centre of all the tourist attractions. We visited Lincolnshire City centre which was lovely, the castle, cathedral and historic prison were all in walking distance once parked up in centre.
