"This hotel is cute, well located in downtown Helensburgh facing the Clyde. It's a "boutique" hotel so there's a lot of nice decoration items. The room itself is well decorated and there's even a vinyl record player with some vinyl discs. The bed in our double room was maybe a bit tiny but it's okay for 1 night. The front desk staff is nice. We had a reservation for the restaurant at 8:45pm but when we got there we were told that the kitchen closed at 8pm (it was Saturday night). Too bad, but there are other options to have dinner nearby. The breakfast was good though! We had a really nice price through hotels.com We definetly recommend Riva Hotel"

"3 jours au calme, les pieds dans l'eau dans ce cottage charmant, avec beaucoup de cachet, bien rénové et équipé. Terrasse en bord de plage, une vue extraordinaire sur la mer et l'île de Bute. Le village de Kames est très calme et très beau. Coup de cœur de notre voyage en Écosse !"
