« We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre. »

"Lovely place, in a beautiful village. The family room in the barn is big enough for 2 adults and 2 children (there is also a sofa bed in the parents bedroom). It is located just a quick walk from the main building, although along the road which can be a bit noisy sometimes. Amazing breakfast served in the restaurant, one of the best we ever had in the UK! And very good food overall at the restaurant."
