"Just a really lovely stay. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, everyone was helpful, friendly, and professional. We felt welcome, and it's easy to tell everyone cares about the property -- it's in beautiful condition. It's clearly an older property, but the room we were in and the public spaces are well cared for and clean. Definitely a place I would stay again!"

"Went with family to a Portland thorns soccer game. This hotel was within walking distance of about 5 minutes. Was able to stay on the 5th floor in the large suite. Had two bedrooms, full kitchen and living room with a pull-out couch. Had a great view of the stadium. Bed's very comfortable. Will definitely be back! Parking's a little tough. Once we got there we didn't want to leave because we didn't want to lose the free parking spot. It looks really old from the outside but the inside was nice and clean and comfortable."

"Overall we had an excellent stay at the Heathman, even with the lobby construction. Our king room was extra large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially for our baby. We used the nearby SmartPark garage (at 4th and Yamhill) for parking with no issues and ~$15/night. "

"Very welcoming to dogs and kids. Convenient for lots of things in town. Enormous selection of games and such things to help occupy time. Parking is at a premium and there is a charge - most downtown Portland hotels are the same. A downside is that there are ZERO hooks or racks in the bathroom for either clothes or wet towels. This is a problem if you don’t need/want room servicing every day. And if you have multiple people in the room. Rooms not terribly soundproof. Breakfast really was VERY slim and they kept running out of coffee."
