The location and the property were excellent. We had an amazing time staying at the Heathman.. The front desk evening staff were very friendly and helpful with information about the local scene. We highly recommend this hotel.

Its a decent older hotel. Great location! Very walkable which i love. Staffing seemed tight, the 1 or 2 people working the desk were always busy. The rooms could have used a good dusting but again its an older hotel. The restaurant in the hotel was okay but menu pretty limited. You can walk closely elsewhere for good food.

Such a cool and unique stay. The Tavern had excellent food, and I really enjoyed the amenities (the gym is awesome!). All of the staff were so nice and helpful. This was a great accommodation for my Portland trip.

There’s not much one could find wrong with a property that houses a beautiful library. Every staff member I interacted with was personable and eager to assist. The in room French press was an excellent added amenity with excellent coffee grounds included. I enjoyed breakfast delivered to my room from the onsite restaurant The Tavern. The location was convenient and I found the area highly walkable. Having slightly later hours for the restaurant or even just the bar would have been nice, but not enough to issue complaint over. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I loved my stay in Portland, the hotel is very centrally located to everything downtown and I was able to walk to everywhere quickly. They have people that open the doors for you and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel had a small menu but what they had was delicious. I would definitely stay here on a return visit to Portland again!

My favorite part about the property was how soundproofed the room was. I was facing the street, and there was live music outside a block or two down, and I heard nothing through the windows. It was pleasantly quiet, which is exactly what I was hoping for when I chose this hotel. The inside is gorgeous, and the breakfast was also quite good. Overall a great property. If I had to find a single negative, it would be that the supplied body wash scent was not my cup of tea.
