Newly Renovated Beach Décor unit! Breathtaking views of the Atlantic ocean and protected Florida Keys mangroves. Heated Jr Olympic size pool/jacuzzi with fully equipped bar and bartender. Tennis courts recently renovated. Walking paths thru the Florida Keys protected mangroves. Onsite marina, with beach, gazebo, dockage ramp. Restaurant with ocean views. Snorkeling and kayak on the premises. Walk to the end of the pier and take in the ocean breeze and watch the boats sail by.

  • Inspired by @williamJones I went down to south Florida. I also went down to visit family :D. Granted, I had to capture a few landscapes along the way. I left Atlanta at 3:30 PM and got into Key Largo at 3:00 AM. Slept for a couple hours in my car and went in search of a sunrise. I hoped to find a dock falling into the water, but this was just as good. I also went from 37 degrees to 74 degrees. That was interesting.

Condo was very nice and clean. Our host responded when we contacted him. The power strip to WiFi was turned off so took us a while to figure that out so if you rent this condo just check that. The pool was extremely nice and the kids loved it.

Our stay at Tavernier did not start out too good.. after arriving at 5 pm, the entry code would not work to get in to the condo. It took over 45 minutes to reach the owner to have him reset a code for us to get in to the place. Once we were able to enter the condo it was very nice but we were rushed to get to our wedding event. The next morning I needed to work from the condo and could not get on the Internet. I reached out to the owner, took screenshots of all the options to hook up to his condo’s Internet, and he too, was confused why I was not able to connect from his place. I ended up going to Dunkin’ Donut to use their Internet for the hour that I needed to work. It was very inconvenient. Other than that, the stay was comfortable.

Amazing!!!!

The property was absolutely amazing!!! So clean and spacious!! We loved it so much that we spent a whole day of our vacation just enjoying the property, and we also ended up adding 3 days to our trip!

Clean and well maintained

This is a great condo/property. Everything is clean and maintained. Balcony is nice, it's small, but perfect for two people, has table and chairs. Check-in was easy, parking was great. Nice pool with walkup restaurant/bar, friendly staff, pretty beach area with smal pier. Entire property is really nice. Highly recommend!

Relaxing getaway

Property was clean and nice. Gated area so felt safe staying. Beautiful view out the porch area. Close to restaurants, shopping, and activities but far away from all the hustle and bussle of the highway so it made for a quiet relaxing stay. Highly recommend staying here would definitely rec.

This was a lovely condo loaded with anything you will need on your stay. The parking was convenient and the property was great. Beach access and heated pool. Close to grocery and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

Not so amazing ocean views

You can see the ocean, I wouldn't call it amazing. Everything was clean and tidy. There is enough space for 2. It would be cramped with 4. Furniture and bed are comfortable. There were a couple of issues but the owner corrected them. The pool was wonderful!! Clean, warm and the hot tub is very relaxing. Over all a positive experience.

Peaceful and relaxing

We had a great time . I really like the fact that there is a guard station as you enter. I felt very safe walking around. The kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed. I was worried when we first got there and heard the air conditioning kick in right outside the unit, especially based on where the bedroom is, but it didn’t bother us a bit. We would sty here again. The one thing that I wish is that there was a warning about sharp rocks at the beach, my husband cut his foot.

Tavernier Treat

This is a good location for exploring the Florida Keys. If you are into scuba this is a prime location to branch in either direction to find that perfect dive spot. It is said there are more dive shops in the Keys than there are gas stations and I believe it. Nice views of both the ocean and Gulf of Mexico if you are in one of the upper condos. Grocery stores are nearby as well as many nightspots.

Besides a couple of issues with check-in, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our condo was VERY clean and everything was just as the description listed.

Nicely decorated...disappointed that restaurant and bar were not operating...pool was nice...nice to have a cooler available. Beach chair did not look usable...didn't try the cart either...one pillow sham was torn on bed...curtain bracket at sliding door was broken Found roaches in the kitchen on our second last day of stay. We killed one but another got away behind refrigerator. Glad we were not cooking much. Overall it was an ok stay
