Excellent location for hiking and close to stores. We would definitely book this beautiful compound again. Excellent communication with owners"

"This is a beautiful home indoors and out. The whole area is simply immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glassware, and mugs galore along with plenty of pans for cooking. We used the outdoor grill and loved it. Early mornings around the fire pit sipping coffee was the perfect way to enjoy each other's company while easing into the day. There is plenty of room to spread out if people want to do different things. We loved being together, so appreciated the seating areas with room for all nine of us. There were enough bedrooms, beds, and large, lovely bathrooms for everyone to find a cozy place to sleep and to shower each day. Overall, this was one of our favorite homes, and we've been in quite a variety in our 21 years of annual gatherings. Our one concern was communication. While I asked for directions to get into the house, I didn't receive them. That lead to 45 minutes of trouble-shooting before a phone number was given to us so we could contact a host. When we discovered that the code was sent to my Junk folder, we were hugely relieved. However, it didn't work, apparently because we were too early. We had no idea how this was all set up. Thank you for altering the time on the code so that we could finally get into the house. After a long day of traveling for some of us, we were quite tired and ready to be "home." Now that we know better, we will ask for an early check in next year when we hope to return."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Casita. Communication with the manager was excellent and she was very kind to let us check out late. It was nice to be able to relax and to be able to make our own food. The air conditioner unit worked well. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room. Unfortunately some of the dishes and pans in the cabinet and some things on the counter were not clean and we had to clean them before use. The unit could also use some simple upgrades to make it more appealing. Some things were pretty run down. But overall we did enjoy our stay. "

"great trails and good exercise. Saw a Javelina in back side yard. Very cool. Superior stay and would do it again. Views of Sonoran desert and sunsets wonderful. Close to many excursions. Owner was very attentive to our needs. La of compliments on the house from our family. "

"My family loved Tanque Verde ranch! There were so many activities and my younger girls (aged 10) loved the kids program. My 12 year old son found it to be a little too “kiddie” for his taste, felt like it was geared towards young elementary aged kids. The food was great, our room was great, staff were nice, horses were amazing! Wish the food prices and menu hadn’t been changed for spring break, made our meal charges way higher for the week. My family did enjoy mountain biking but it seemed that inexperienced kids would sign up for the intermediate biking and then bring everyone down to a beginner speed or level, so that was a bummer for our experienced riders. We loved the Saloon, and honestly any chance we could get to be in the stables for rides. Cowboy cookout and line dancing was so fun! Already rebooked!"

"This was the best experience we have had staying at any rental house. The house was beautiful, the beds comfortable, and they stock all the things to make the stay perfect. Coffee, chips and salsa, a variety of beverages, and soap and shampoo in each shower. The list could go on. They take every detail into consideration, I hope this property is available next time we visit Tucson!"

"After a lifetime of traveling to the desert to recharge, I have never before been to a place as amazing and unique as this property. The springs, the birds, the solitude were all incredible. Adding in the beautiful, spotless, well-stocked home, it is without question the most amazing place I have ever stayed. Splurge and stay here; it’s worth it."
