I was in Tampa on business but had a limited budget. Many of the economy hotels near where I was working had poor reviews. I paid a little more when I found this La Quinta at a reasonable price with good reviews. It exceeded my expectations.

This was an old property that has probably been refurbished several times. It was just one step away from checking out immediately and finding someplace else. The pictures online are not actual pictures. It is deceiving.

I enjoyed the jacuzzi in my room. The breakfast was a nice touch as well as the gym. The area had plenty of things to do with the location being centered in any place I wanted to visit.

Stayed here with my 2 kids, went to pull out the couch bed and found a vile of what appeared to be some sort of drugs. If it hadn’t been 10pm and us just flying in I would’ve left immediately. The hotel had an overall creepy feeling and we were very uncomfortable, we ended up leaving the next day (shortened our stay) and I will never be back to this chain of hotel.

Needed a hotel fairly close to Steinbrenner field. La Quinta filled the bill. Other than that, the hotel was dirty, musty, and inconvenient ro enter from Dale Mabry. Air conditioner cooled, but did not humidify. It felt icky in the room all night. Don't start on the breakfast. Terrible with very limited selections. To top it off, we got stuck in the elevator. Do yourself a favor and choose a better hotel than this way overpriced flophouse
