Room was old with noisy old fashioned wall air conditioner . Bathroom was the tiniest Bathroom I’ve ever seen in a supposedly nice Hotel . Everything was overpriced. Had a Burger,Fries and a horrible red wine. Cost $42.00 at the onsite Shula’s Steak House. Had a glass of white wine at the Rooftop Bar. Cost $24.00. A regular breakfast no frills was $21.00. There’s no convenient off site parking so I had to use the Valet parking that was $37.00 per night. The low light of my stay is when they sent me messages on my phone and constantly reminded me to tip the valet attendant $7 or $8 dollars each time they had to take couple minutes walk to retrieve my vehicle 🚗. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and helpful. I do not recommend this Hotel.

The room I stayed in was strange, but I assume it was one of the weird rooms that are sold at a lower price. Everything else was top notch.

Construction in the area was terrible and while out of the control of the hotel, it was very dirty and challenging to get in and out of the property. Valet service was frustrating and did not assist with luggage. Most disappointing Marriott stay and fell way short of advertisement of property and wish I had selected a different hotel.

Dated rooms. Terrible service. They are being held up by the Autograph collection name when they are nowhere near the standard for that property class. We've been on a road trip for two weeks and this is the worst experience we've had. We were given a terrible room even though l'm a Bonvoy member. Street noise all night long from the four lane road in front of our window. The front desk couldn't print a receipt because I booked through a third party which I have never ever heard of before in any hotel. Room wasn't very clean, stains (I hope) in toilet.

Great experience at Hotel Duval . From the valet to the check in staff, very professional and friendly . Had dinner at Schulas. The waiter was very attentive and engaging . The steak was prepared perfectly . I would highly recommend the Hotel Duval !

Long black hair on the linens (for the second time), non functioning bathroom lights. This plus clientele in the lobby makes it seem like a tinder hookup spot and not a hotel. This is not a 4 star hotel, perhaps in the past but now it's 2.5 which is sad but true.

I came for a day with my cousin and my niece for my 40th birthday. From the time I parked at valet it was a wonderful experience. I apologize I don't remember names. But the complimentary food voucher for Shula's 347 grill and the voucher for a drink at Level 8 Lounge on 8th floor; topped it off. I have a double beds room and it was absolutely gorgeous. Front desk staff was amazing and had great customer service. The food at the restaurant was absolutely amazing and also had a wonderful staff. Making reservations for the restaurant was easy including making adjustments. I'm a first-timer there and I will return in the future. Also, Valet was quick and fast and also gave great customer service. Everything was clean from the time you walk in.

The ladies at the front desks were super sweet. The 8th floor bar was nice and the hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Remodeled but felt very upscale.

We absolutely loved staying at this property! We were in Tallahassee for a wedding. The staff was so helpful and friendly , the rooms were super clean, and the on site restaurant had delicious food for breakfast and lunch. Valet parking was so convenient and the guys were so friendly and helpful.

***Terrible experience****
The condition of the room was old and the unkempt. The setup of the room was out dated and small. The television was on the opposite wall (not in front of the bed) so viewing was almost impossible. The sink and shower did not drain properly .The location is advertised as luxury and it is far from it. I was very disappointed with Hotel Duval and will not be staying there again. The staff was very nice and attentive.
