"What a beautiful area - driving thru’ the lovely little towns and villages on minor roads was the best – rolling hills, autumnal colours, a real delight. The bigger towns/cities are well worth a visit – Bamberg, Wurzburg, Rothenberg, Nurnberg, usw. The area is at least as good as the Black Forest - shame that so few of us Brits have “discovered” Franconia. Motel One Würzburg

10/10 Excellent

"My single room was small but perfectly appointed. The bedding was very comfortable, and I liked having a desk in the room. The shower was also nice with good water pressure and hot water. The hotel lounge was lovely and the bartenders were polite. The location is perfect for walking anywhere you need to go. My only suggestion would be to skip the breakfast, there are too many better options nearby. "
