"The pool wasn't open when we stayed , the room was clean and the staff was friendly! Our smoke detector in the room started chirping at 2:30am and the front desk person came and took care of it right away. (It was not ideal, but they took care of it)."

"I liked the furnishings in the lobby and along the stairs specifically the woven blankets. We left around 7 am and there was not any one at the desk and at that time there was not any breakfast. The app was a bit misleading in that there seemed to have cabin availability but it turned out that all cabins were booked by contractors."

"The owner has made a real effort on this traditional motel . We liked the location - close to bars , restaurants, shops and river walk but not noisy . Building has been repainted, bathrooms upgraded etc . Large room perfect for a short trip/stopover "

"I like this hotel chain normally but this one was undergoing renovations and had a smell to it. Had to grab breakfast and eat in room, no dining area, but still thankful for the food. Felt safe staying here while hauling a trailer and parked on the street outside of parking lot. Would stay again if in the area, and renovated complete. Staff were awesome."

"Mike the chef was the best part of my stay. Not only was he the chef, but was also the bartender that night. He handled both jobs with a personality the made everyone smile and feel at home. The salad with grilled chicken was superb 👌 and he even offered to make chicken for my dog. My room was clean, comfortable and i look forward to returning soon."
