This is the grossest hotel I've ever stayed at. Unfortunately they had us over a barrel since we were visiting from Arizona and it was Roundup weekend and hotel rooms all across Pendleton have been sold out for months, so we had no option to find another place last minute. When we opened the room to enter the room we were hit with the most offensive stench and we immediately opened all windows, put some essential oil on a cloth over the A/C fan. We left it this way for over 5 hrs while we were at Happy Canyon and dancing at Goldies. It seemed somewhat better when we returned but we had to close the windows to sleep. I woke up to use the restroom and had to use my PJ's to cover my nose to fall back to sleep, so gross. The following day we checked out and continued our journey to another town. When we opened our suitcases to change for the evening the stench was still living in all of our belongings! We had to sift through all our clothing to find the "least" gross item to sleep in. Once we returned to AZ I didn't even bring my suitcase in the house. We all had to wash our clothing twice, disinfect and wipe down all other belongings to rid of it. I'm almost 60 and have travelled a fair amount throughout the US, Europe and South America......NOTHING even remotely touches this experience! I owned and operated a cleaning and restoration business for 17 years, so I've been exposed to nasty odors and cleanup but this ranks close to the top. Odor traumatized!

Check in was 30 minutes for no reason, our key was deactivated 3 times with no explanation, no front desk person there at 2pm when I'm locked out. Lied to after I saw the guy lab leave the parking lot and about how the key card will be deactivated by a phone, we tested it and that's not true. Breakfast was put away at 845 and no one could soak English or understand Breakfast was supposed to go until 9am. Not ever going back and do not recommend.

I was very disappointed about my stay at this Motel 8 after staying at Super 8 in Grangeville I'd. The pool looked like it had algae and the room smelled of pee. Grangeville was 5 stars. Will never stay there again. Rather of stayed in my car almost.

We booked the room for 5 people, 3 adults and 2 kids. There were 2 queen size beds. We called to ask about a roll away bed. They said on the phone no charge. When we got there, they charged 10.00 dollars for a room that was booked for 5. The room was very small. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work at all. There were no other mirrors which made it difficult to get ready. On line said there was a hot tub in the pool room. No hot tub. While checking the room before leaving, one of the kids found what looked to be a dog turd under one of the beds. All things considered the room was not dirty, just really small.

This was a quick overnight stop on on long road trip. The room was okay - the whole place is a more than a bit run down and could use some TLC. The bed was comfortable, we had all the towels we needed and there was the usual breakfast. Nothing spectacular, but serviceable for a one night stay.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not so good. Not a great variety to choose from. A lot of it was stale. The jelly for toast was so hard it wouldn't even come out of the container. No room to sit down for breakfast, most had to stand.

I needed a stopping place to lay our families heads just for the night. I put in the filter family of 5 and 2 dogs, and this was available. We got in late, the place was run down and not clean, but im not super picky for just a sleep so we checked in. The room did not have space for 5 people and 2 dogs. I realize this is partially my fault because I didn't make sure there was a pull out couch in addition to the 2 queen beds but I thought putting the filters in would mean the room I chose would have enough beds. Luckily we were on the way to go camping and had a cot with us. I should've spent the extra $70 and grabbed a place at the Red Lion down the street.

The carpeting needed to be cleaned badly, there was a nail sticking out by the bathroom that could have really hurt somebody's foot bad had they not noticed it. The bed had a very big dip in it that made it uncomfortable for my husband. There was a large laundry basket and a fold-up bed at the bottom of the stairs on the second floor that made it impossible to use the handrail. I do have to say it was quiet.
