Very trendy look and had everything we needed for a week stay. Fully stocked towels, everything you need in the kitchen, a washer/dryer, and it was so clean! I did not see a single bug the whole time which is rare in the south. Each room had air conditioning so we could keep it at a temp we like. After attending my father’s funeral in Florida, we stopped in St. Marys, GA, to visit my son and his girlfriend, and this charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom Vrbo was the perfect haven for our brief stay. The property was immaculate, cozy, and welcoming, making us feel instantly at ease after a long drive. The air conditioning was a blessing in the Georgia heat, and the layout was ideal for our small group to relax and reconnect.The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the St. Marys waterfront and close to the Cumberland Island Ferry, though we didn’t have time to explore those this trip. What made it especially convenient was the parking lot shared with a fantastic Mexican restaurant right next door, where we enjoyed a delicious meal without needing to cook. The host was wonderfully responsive, ensuring everything was seamless for our quick visit. Doe Run Inn’s 10/10 rating is well-deserved—this place is a gem for anyone passing through or staying longer in St. Marys.
