The beds weren’t terribly comfortable but the view is second to none. Before you rent, ask yourself if dealing with older furnishings, chipping paint, and well-used appliances is worth being right on the beach. As a fisherman, it was well worth it for me since I didn’t have to haul my gear very far. I think the home’s age and wear & tear is reflected in the price. We will rent here again. ##### Chris D. We were secluded, but close enough to walk just about anywhere we needed to go. Can't say enough good things about the location of this house. However, it is sorely in need of updates. The screen door on the patio had holes in it. The deck had a board placed (not secured) over a rotted section. The showers need an overhaul. The property has not been fully restored after storm a year ago. Most others have been but not this one. Housekeeping was less than ideal. Dusting was incomplete. Picture frames, mirrors in bathroom, etc were dusty. I expected more up to date furnishings. Trying to watch a football game on TV was VERY frustrating — quality and screen size.
