"Staff were lovely, friendly and efficient. The breakfast was very good - not from a buffet but freshly made to order. The reception area was very nice although a bit cold and the bar area was cosy and comfortable. The bedroom was fine - not big but very comfortable and clean although the window frames were dirty, caused by condensation, but this can be easily sorted. Overall a very pleasant overnight stay."

"Such a lovely place to stay. Clean, quiet, the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The gentleman who checked me in was so kind. Plus, the shower was divine - hot and water pressure was magnificent. The bed was PERFECT! Couldn’t complain at all! My only disappointment was that for a 400-year-old building, I didn’t see a single ghost! :D Highly recommend!"

We could not have asked for more. There’s nothing pretentious about Cromlix.
