Beautiful room and food on site was lovely. It was very good value for money and in general we really enjoyed our stay. Quite noisy through the night with lorries up the High Street. It advertises limited parking - parking is extremely limited with only 2 spaces, one of which appeared to be in use by I'm assuming the owner (due to the private number plate) . No complaints really. The only awkward problem was that I was informed I couldn’t stay in the room unless I had a physical credit card. I don’t carry these as I don’t live in the last century, I just had virtual cards on my phone (Apple Pay). So unless I had a card I couldn’t stay I was told. No milk or tea spoon in the room for a morning coffee. The website needs to remove the free parking claim as there’s only 2 spaces which are permanently taken. Had to park on a side street 200 yards away. Not ideal. Lots of noise late into the evening from music in the bar. Need to decide if it’s a music venue or a hotel. Nice central place to stay. Staff nice and helpful. Only down side was the bottom surround of the shower had black mould the rest of the room was lovely n clean. As was only staying 1 night was able to miss using the shower. Even on a really busy evening when fully booked in Thier restaurant they brought food to my room off Thier restaurant menu and it was the best food I had eaten in Crieff including eating at crieff hydro and a few local restaurants. The room was lovely and had a small kitchenette more than adequate. A really lovely stay.
