The staff--especially Athena--were extremely helpful and eager to please. "We stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed every day. Beautiful views from balcony and private pool. It’s quiet and away from popular tourist traps. Had basic kitchen amenities so we were able to make breakfast and lunch. Everything was very clean and neat on arrival. The private pool was used every day and night, fantastic for a family with kids. Stelios and staff were so kind and very helpful. Parking available and a short drive to Rethymno. "Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. "

"Our week long stay at Koupos Villa was exactly what we wanted; quiet and relaxing. The villa is beautifully finished and had all the necessary fixtures we needed to enjoy our stay. The owners were so helpful and kind, leaving some fruit and coffee with other essentials for when we arrived. They even changed bed linen and towels mid week which was a bonus. The outdoor setting of pool and bbq/pizza oven were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed making full use of them. The nearest shop was a 5 minute drive away in small nearby village and bigger supermarket (lidl) only 15 minute drive away. We enjoyed exploring Rethymnon one day and even walked around surrounding villages some evenings as sun was setting. would highly recommend this villa and would happily stay again in the future."
