"Breakfast was cold, no forks and the the breakfast person broke a large bowl of sausage gravy and made a mess. Te person was ok, but no staff came to help her at all. We ended up going for breakfast after we checked out."

"I chose this place because of the price. I got what I paid for and don’t regret my decision. It got the job done for the two nights I needed it. I was on a ground floor room. It had a funny smell. The lights were life sucking fluorescent tubes and bulbs. While clean, there were visible maintenance issues. But everything was functional. If other options weren’t so significantly more, I would choose elsewhere. But this was a 3-star price, and a solid 3-star experience."

"The staff were courteous,very helpful, and efficient. My room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again, if my business bring me back to the area. Thanks for all of the accommodations!"

"Well, at least there was bar soap for the shower. That’s about where the positives stop. We wandered around the room a bit to find light switches only to find there were none. Just lamps that had to be individually turned on. A couple of which didn’t work. The room was large, but about a third of the space was completely empty. Just floor. No furniture. No decorations. Just….an aerobics area? Not sure. Stuff was broken all over. The fridge door had been yanked so hard it didn’t close properly and was uneven and it was barely cooler than room temperature. There was some sort of metal skirt around the bed that was about 1/4” too long, so when you put weight on the bed it puckered out making a thunderous noise. That was a fun way to wake up every time you rolled over in the night. The hair dryer was operable but broken. The shower curtain rod had been pulled down so it sloped down in the middle and the curtain kept sliding to the middle of the bar, opening up both sides of the shower while using it. Normally you’d be able to hook the grommets onto the set screws on each end except their “handy man” had installed it backwards so the screws hung down instead of up. The shower made an ear-piercing squeal while the water was running. The bathroom was horribly laid out. The commode was only a couple inches from the door and you had to have the door closed when you were on the toilet. The toilet paper was hung behind the toilet so you had to be a contortionist to use it. Just awful."

"The location was great, rooms were clean and staff was great! My only complaint was the noise from the interstate. There is no barriers between the property and road so it was very loud. Would suggest if you are a light sleeper to request a room on the other side of the hotel. Otherwise, no complaints."

"This is an excellent spot, small and exactly what you need. Great for one person, maybe a couple, but as a singular guest, I couldn’t have asked for anything more! Amenities are simple but quality. The AC was great. Only had one lil bug get in and I put him outside without any further incident! Love the area, the nature, and the people around Yellow Springs. Will definitely stay again next time I’m in the area."

"The coffee maker was not working and the bathroom exhaust fan did not work. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable."
