"The location of the cottage is amazing, beautiful lake and the area is surrounded by various hiking/biking trails. We were disappointed in the way the cottage is listed, the reason being that the cottage is a Duplex and the description did not mention it being a duplex. The other tenants who rented the other side of the duplex thought the fire pit and hot tub was a shared space which made things awkward when we had to address the issue with them. Also having to share the kayaks was not ideal. Besides that we still enjoyed our stay "

"Comfortable and quaint place with a nice view of the lake. Cottage was comfortable, clean and has well stocked kitchen(dinnerware, pots, pans, etc..). Bedrooms are a fair size. There is a third smaller room that is currently setup as an office, so if travelling with 2 kids(like we were) we would have brought an air mattress in order for the kids to have separate rooms for them to sleep in. Great stay!"

"It was a great last minute location that accomodated my whole group of 15! The space was beautiful and right by the lake which added to some of my friend's experiences who have never been to a chalet before. We were really happy with the cleanliness and the price. "The cottage was clean but the yard and gardens a bit unkept and a piece of garbage in the yard. Communication was friendly and timely. Checkin was a breeze. The stairs to the cottage were lit. Hanging fly traps on one hand helped keep bugs away but emitted an unpleasant odour. The photos of the cottage are very well done and made us believe the cottage was isolated. There are cottages on each side and behind. A neighbouring cottage is under construction with materials lying around. The path to the road to the lake access and beach is alongside the construction site. Lake access and beach are in walking distance. Neither are on the property. Unfortunately it rained all week so we did not get to use the outdoor spaces and the indoor space felt cramped. We used the loft bedroom for our bags and for dressing (closets and dressers were all in use). Otherwise, the cottage was big enough for the three of us (2 adults and one dog). The fridge and stove worked well. The door was off the dryer. The shower pressure was good. After heavy rain we noticed an odour in the bathroom. They were unable to get a plumber in until after we left. We had trouble getting the tv going but managed to "
