"It served its purpose well, needed a room for the night. Conveniently located and close to restaurants and stores. Not fancy, not new, but clean. Mattresses are getting worn but sheets are clean. Smelled clean. Didn't eat breakfast, looked simple but once again, it was clean."

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. We were traveling with 17 people in our party. Five adults and 12 girls (5-17 years). The house was spacious and comfortable and included plenty of beds/room for everyone. If you are not used to driving on West Virginia mountains roads, I would definitely recommend arriving during daylight hours. The road up the mountain to the house is very narrow in places and it was a bit scary the first time at night. Lots of room in the kitchens for cooking and eating. Would stay here again. "

The rooms are huge (We have been in just about every room type). Check in is always easy. We both love the McCoy Inn so much. No other hotel gives you as much space for the cost. "

"We wanted a relaxing getaway for a long weekend and that's exactly what we got. The house is located right on the river and we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the view. It is within an hour to New River Gorge National Park and several state parks. There is plenty of space to explore near the house with the Elk River Trail right across the road. The house is clean and well-equipped and the owners are very communicative. We would definitely stay here again if we are going to be in the area. "
