Superbe maison dans un environnement tranquille à 15 minutes à peine de Sienne. Letizia et Luca nous ont chaleureusement acceuilli. Maison très propre et typique.Normalement la piscine est à partager avec l'appartement d'à côté, mais nous étions les seuls locataires à ce moment là. La note général du site de 10/10 est méritée.Un grand merci à nos sympathiques hôtes.

Maison parfaitement équipée et spacieuse. Tres calme dans la campagne Toscane. Proche de la voie rapide. Très proche de Sienne (10min en voiture), 1h de Florence, 1h de Montepulciano. Localisation parfaite pour visiter la Toscane. Hotes toujours à l'écoute et très gentils. Piscine sublime à debordement donnant sur un paysage de carte postale. Je recommande vivement.

Amazing pool which we had to ourselves all week. The owners Luca and Leticia were very helpful & lovely. It was nice to know that they were close at hand at the same time as feeling we were free to make ourselves at home. The only negatives were that it wasn't made clear from the photos when we booked that the third bedroom (which is a loft room) is open to the stairs with no door so there is a feeling of a lack of privacy. It also gets very hot up there. This coupled with the fact that the Aircon unit wasn't working properly meant that our daughter ended up sleeping in the spare bed in our room for the majority of our stay. It was a particularly hot week in August which also meant that we found it a bit hard to relax downstairs inside as the sofas were covered in a synthetic fabric and there wasn't Aircon downstairs. Overall though we had a very relaxing and memorable week exploring Siena and driving further afield to Volterra, Perugia and San Gim and watching all the birds and lizards in the garden.

Luca and Lavazza were very good Hosts. Excellent stay. Luca made suggestions for dinner and wine tasting. Very enjoyable stay. Perfect after travel and days with in-laws in Florence for four days… Whew!! Definitely nice break

Lovely location, lots of room and nice yard

The location of the house is remote and quiet with lovely views, while still near the small town of San Rocco a Pilli. There are several restaurants, a store and bakery there. The challenge was finding the house, as the host is not a great communicator (but his wife is lovely!) We really wanted to stay here due to the spa (hot tub) that was listed, but it never got hot (there is no cover, so no way to get it hot) and only a few jets worked, so that was very disappointing. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, but no supplies except sugar, salt and olive oil. So you need to buy all supplies. We had a cooking lesson and there was plenty of room for 6 of us. There are three bathrooms, one on each floor The downstairs one has a shower in the corner, but it works fine. Two bedrooms are upstairs with queen beds (comfortable) and a bathroom with shower and tub in between them. The third floor has 2 futons with a bathroom with a toilet and sink. (Good place for kids!) Overall it was a great house, but the host is a challenge. Luckily his wife is welcoming and engaging.

Great home base for exploring Tuscany

Really spacious and quiet property, a short drive to Siena while also a great location for visiting other towns in the region. We all loved the incredible views, the pool, the hot tub... There are excellent restaurants nearby, and of course many more in Siena. The owner's mother lives in a nearby building and was entirely charming, and gave us great recommendations for a coastal side trip. Relax here and explore!

A Beautiful Home in the Tuscan Countryside

This property was a dream. We enjoyed it tremendously. Watching golden hour from the couch out the massive picture windows was a fantastic experience not to be missed! A perfect to location to explore Siena and some local wineries.

Beautiful setting

This vrbo is outside of a beautiful town with great restaurants. It is also not far from Siena. The countryside is so peaceful. Our kids loved the pool. There was plenty of space for our family of five. Luca is a wonderful host. We would highly recommend this property.

AMAZING VILLA!

Okay this place exceeded our epectations! It was beyond beautiful and the perfect Tuscan vacation villa for our large group of 5 adults. It had so much room and comfortable beds and could easily have slept at least 3 more, comfortably. It had that classic tuscan charm and great views of the countryside as well as a garden to die for. We all spent time admiring the rose bushes, various trees and flowers. Our host Luca, was WONDERFUL! He met us there and gave us a run down of the property and then helped us book dinner reservations in Siena and then wine tastings in Montepulciano. He was warm and amiable and easily reachable. The property is close to Siena and easily reachable by rented vehicle. Great location as a base. We loved every bit of our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful time at Luca and Letitia’s rental, only wish we could have stayed there longer! They were very accommodating and made reservations for us to go to a delicious wine tasting. The views were incredible and the rooms were spacious and clean. We hope to be back someday soon!

Wonderful stay!

Comfortable accommodations and very accommodating owners. A/C would have been nice but we were fine with the fans. Luca and his wife were extremely helpful in getting us settled and seeing to it that we had everything we needed. It was very hot during our stay and the pool was a great relief from the heat. Luca took great care in recommending nearby "must-see" hilltowns and was spot-on with his suggestions. He even made a dinner reservation for us in Siena on a Saturday night and the food was delicious.

Loved it!

I can’t say enough about what a great time we had staying at Luca and Letizia’s vacation rental. The setting is amazing, the house and property overlooking the hills to the south of Siena. We were just a few minutes from San Rocco a Pilli, where you have a few restaurants and a grocery store. The apartment itself is wonderfully done. Luca, an architect, did a beautiful job renovating the interior. There is plenty of space and in fact there was an entire bedroom our family of 5 didn’t even need to use. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need. We made day trips to Pisa and Lucca and Siena is just a 10 minute car ride away. The best part of our stay, and something we get to keep, was making friends with our hosts. They are truly generous and kind people and I hope to stay in touch with them. Beautiful Tuscan Villa with amazing views.

Luca and Letticia were wonderful. They met us at the villa and showed us around. They even left cakes and some food and water for us. My family of four including two grown sons were very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and Luca arranged a wine tasting for us.

Estupenda estancia

Apartamento amplio, cómodo y acogedor en una bonita propiedad histórica, restaurada con gusto. Está en un paraje tranquilo y precioso, cerca de Siena, muy bien ubicada para visitar toda la Toscana. Luca ha sido un magnífico anfitrión y en todo momento nos hemos sentido muy bien atendidos. Un lugar para disfrutar, lo recomiendo sin dudarlo!

Erholsame Stunden, kommen gerne wieder

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und trotzdem zentral zum Einkaufen, Ausflüge machen oder Sienna besuchen. Pool ist herrlich und Zimmer optimal und mit viel Liebe ausgestattet. Lediglich ein oder zwei Sonnenschirme mehr wären eine kleine Verbesserung. Luca und Letizia sind immer gerne bereit zu helfen oder Auskunft zu geben. Haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

We stayed here a few nights during our tour of Italy. It was I nice break for the kids to enjoy the pool and beautiful scenery. Luca was very attentive and kind. The house was clean and we were very comfortable. Thank you.

Perfection.

Luca's wife was super pleasant upon our arrival. The property was amazing, from the gorgeous pool, the outdoor stone bbq which we grilled steak florentine in - twice! The grandmom who resides at the end of the house, who we affectionately called "Nonna", brought us the best plum jam I've ever tasted. The 3 bedroom apartment was large, spacious, comfortable and well stocked with kitchen equipment for our 8 days of cooking like locals. The Coop is a 4 minute drive and has everything one might need. Siena is a 10 minute drive away (you'll require a car at this rural property) and Montalcino, Montepulciano and Chianti classico wine country is an hour away - so many wineries and villages to explore - this property was in the perfect spot for day tripping relaxation. We never had the opportunity to meet Luca but his Mom and wife had us well covered (even when we accidentally locked ourselves out at 10pm after a late night dinner on the terrace - a family member arrived in 10 minutes with help - best to put someone in charge of looking after the key as the doors self lock when shut. Highly recommend!

Beautiful villa near Siena

This property was perfectly located near Siena in central Tuscany. The villa was set on a little hill and the scenery was breathtaking. The pictures don't do the surrounding area justice. Luca and Letizia were precious and very helpful. A few things that were listed as part of the amenities didn't ever really pan out. Even though Luca worked like crazy to get the hot tub working, the bubbles worked, but it was never warm. Also, the bikes weren't working, but it was fine, we just walked into town, or drove. Being near San Rocco was perfect for picking up groceries or grabbing a quick cup of coffee on our way out of town. I would highly recommend the pizza place that is near the COOP grocery store.

Fabulous Hosts!

Luca and Letitia could not have better hosts. What a gorgeous place in the Tuscan countryside. We were there for the three days, but would have enjoyed a much longer stay. There is nothing like picking up all the fixings for a Tuscan dinner, and then enjoying it while watching the sun set over the farmlands. The house itself is kind of a marvel. Built in the 1300's, Luca, who is an architect is building his dream house with plenty of artistic flourishes. The pool is very nice, the hot tub could have been a little warmer. There was plenty of stuff in the kitchen in terms of pots and pans, cutlery and dishes. Some tips: Sienna is 5 miles away, so a quick trip and is an amazing city. Vinyards surround the place, so it is not hard to find wine tasting experiences. The Coop is a great supermarket in town.
