Howdenvale Haven is a funky 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home that invites you to an incredibly relaxing and fun time on South Bruce Peninsula. As you walk up the driveway, a beautiful covered porch area invites you to sip your morning coffee while overlooking your private, well-treed lot. The stunning pine exterior has been freshly sanded and stained. Most of the wood, both inside and out, were custom crafted right here in the garage! All of it being sourced locally in South Bruce Peninsula. Lots of room for all your toys with an attached garage, carport and lean-to storage area. Talk about location, you are close to many different attractions and amenities! Take a stroll down to Howdenvale Beach, a sandy beach on Lake Huron only a short 9-minute walk away. Centrally located on the Bruce Peninsula, the property is less than 20 minutes to Lion's Head, Sauble Beach and Wiarton, allowing you to take in the sights and get all your essentials without travelling too far!

Here’s our story (and it’s a pretty wild one!): In 1973, Jason’s grandpa decided to build a cottage for he and his wife. They decided to retire up in Grey Bruce Peninsula. Harold Fournie took a trailer up to the property and decided to build a structure around it. Jason has been going up there since he was born. He says his most memorable childhood memories took place on this land and in this house. Every summer, his grandpa would add one more room to it. He milled the wood in the garage using trees from the area. There are still sap stains in the garage. Anyway, 25 years ago, his grandparents decided to sell the place and move closer to a hospital as they were getting older. Jason has fantasized about buying a place up there ever since I have known him. Never in a million years did we think that we would be able to purchase the very same place that his grandpa built! There is so much history, so many memories, and now we get to create our own with our own children!

Funky House
The house has a funky layout but it was great that my friends and I each had our own rooms. They were spread out through the funky layout.
