Châteaux à Somerford Keynes

« Grandma, children and grandchildren stayed in this beautiful appointed holiday home for three nights. We wished we’d had longer The house was spacious and well equipped. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub There was a great choice of activities, we fitted in catacanoe and paddle boarding along with leisurely strolls. We hope to return next year for a little longer »

« Cannot fault this stay. Had a wonderful week in an excellent home which had all the essentials. Really appreciated multiple towels and especially robes for the hot tub. Hot tube was out of use for the first three days due to filtering issues but this was swiftly dealt with. We appreciate the responsiveness. Minor feedback- We notes that the outdoor furniture was covered in cob webs and whilst we appreciate a closeness to nature and not disturbing it, having to dust and clean is not ideal when...

« We stayed here for a birthday celebration, fantastic home and facilities everything we needed. Wonderful spot - excellent service from Orion holidays form booking to check out. Fantastic communication and fantastic time away - we will be back. Thank you »

« A great 4 nights away. Lower Mill has everything you want! The property we rented was in Mill Village - a great location for all amenities. »

« We have holidayed at this property for the last 3 years which in its self is an excellent recommendation. The house has always been well maintained with everything provided that you would want. Needless to say we will seriously consider making it number 4 next year! »

« We had a great weekend at 26 Howells mere. The accommodation was lovely, we particularly liked the large living area on the middle floor. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location is great for walking and running. The on site pool was very clean and great for all the family. The riffle shooting locally I would also recommend. »

« We stayed for a long weekend, it was great having the lake right in front of the accommodation so the kids could go out in the kayaks anytime they wanted during the day and we could join them or watch from the balcony. The house is extremely well equipped, and beds were comfy. The staff on the lower mill estate were fantastic, very friendly and made everything really easy. Having the Swimming pools, restaurant and other facilities on site was a huge advantage as it felt safe to let the...

« Great property - plenty of space, clean, overlooking a lake. Fantastic communication from the hosts...we had a small issue with water - they were on it straight away. Only small gripe was about the estate facilities... restaurant and bar closed in Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm (I think). The portal for booking water sports was not particularly user friendly...we only wanted to book 2 hours but the portal indicated the only option for 2 hours was to start at 2pm - it turned out from staff that we...

« This accommodation met all our requirements and more. The view from the garden across the lake was stunning. All the rooms were decorated to a high standard, the lounge area was large enough for us all to relax together and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub and bbq were great to use after a lovely day exploring. There are so many beautiful walks around the vicinity and Burton on the water isn't far. We just wish we could have stayed longer. »

« ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We've stayed here several times now and keep coming back, which says it all really! The house is always spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-equipped, with stunning views over the lake that we never get tired of. It's in a great location within Lower Mill Estate, making it easy to enjoy everything the estate has to offer. One of the biggest draws for us is the fantastic facilities on the estate – the pools, spa, restaurant and beautiful walks around the lakes all make for a really...

« Beautiful house with lots of space and well equipped. View was lovely and outdoor areas both front and back allowed us to take full advantage of the weather. Looking forward to returning »

« Stunning lodge in the most beautiful setting. This was our third visit to Lower Mill Estate. Coot Lodge is a very spacious 3 bedroom lodge - with double height living accommodation, huge decked area, with bbq. It’s close proximity to the spa and pool made it super easy to walk to. Lots of towels and clean bedding. We were spoilt for board Games. The property is so lovely that we didn’t really want to leave to go anywhere! We would highly recommend and would book to visit again. »

« Wow, we had a fantastic 6 night stay in a luxury lodge, with an amazing view. We’ll certainly be back »

« The accommodation is nice and in a lovely spot but after staying in many places at lower mill it would benefit from upgradjng some things, having 2 baths and only a shower downstairs doesnt make sense and makes showering a juggle, it needs new mattresses and the pontoon needs some tidying up as its not useable for access. The accommodation is in a perfect spot and was very clean. We had a great holiday. »

« Cottage was exactly how it was advertised and was great for our family (including one dog) for a long weekend. It was very well appointed and exceptionally clean. We had one very minor issue whilst staying (portable room fan not working - it was the hottest weekend of the year so far!) and contacted Orion Holidays who demonstrated exceptional customer service by responding and remedying within a couple hours. The only negative for the estate is the lack of parking - each property generally...

« The Cotswold Water Park is our favourite place to spend time with our family and this year we were able to spend the whole week out and about. The family of seven stayed in Damsel Cottage and we, the grandparents had a smaller house, Trout Cottage, just a few houses up the road. No-one had any complaints whatsoever. Everything was perfect including the weather, if a little hot during the day! »

« Lovely place, highly recommend. Will definitely be returning in the summer time with the whole family »
