« We went up for a 4 day weekend planning to do a little kayaking and fishing, but the rain was not in our favor. River levels were high and water was moving fast! The house has been remodeled and very nice. We did eat breakfast in and there where pots and pan there for us to use. Me, my husband, son and daughter-in-law enjoyed the home and would definitely stay there again. »

« Had an amazing family gathering! The house is really large, and accommodated us well. The layout makes the house feel a bit of a maze, and there is only one en-suite, but we found everything we needed! Two small issues- the top bunks in the 2-bunk room didn’t have railings so our kids were afraid to sleep up there, and the septic system caused some problem, but had great response from the owners and the maintaince personnel came out quickly. »

« The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. « Absolutely perfect if you have small kids (and even if you don't). Host was quick to respond. There were so many great activities available for our kids to do. Everything was super clean, well organized, and the living area, which we used for the kids' bedroom, was perfect for little ones. "Nous avons passé 3 nuits début juillet 2025 à Skyland, et ce fut une expérience exceptionnelle ! Notre chambre double avec deux lits queen était spacieuse, propre et très confortable. Elle disposait de tout le nécessaire : TV, Wi-Fi, machine à café, et surtout une superbe terrasse avec une vue à couper le souffle sur les montagnes de Shenandoah : un vrai bonheur au lever comme au coucher du soleil. Le personnel a été extrêmement accueillant et serviable tout au long du séjour, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. L’hôtel est idéalement situé au cœur du parc, parfait pour rayonner sur Skyline Drive et profiter des randonnées sans passer trop de temps en voiture. Sur place, tout est prévu pour un séjour pratique et agréable : restaurant, bar, boutique, machine à glace, parking gratuit… (Seul petit point à noter : il n’y a pas de piscine, mais franchement, on ne vient pas ici pour ça !). Nous recommandons chaudement Skyland à tous ceux qui veulent profiter pleinement de Shenandoah NP dans un cadre naturel, calme et authentique. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter !"
