"We love the Driftwood Cottage. Have stayed twice now and hope to book again. The size is perfect for a couple or one person. The ocean view includes a deck the full width of the cottage, plenty of deck chairs and access to the yard both front and back for the pup. Yard is always well maintained, no noise from neighbors and the inside is spotless and includes a towel warmer in the bath as well. Can't say enough great things and already look forward to returning. Beach access a couple minutes up 101. Love this cottage."

"We were a little disappointed with the dinner at the restaurant, food was overcooked (vegetables), no bread with the main entrees without ordering separately. It was good food but not quite right for the price."

"The room was clean and had a deck with a beautiful view of the ocean. Beach access is directly across the street. We receivedl goodie bags for our pups. Robes are provided for going the spa. The pool, hot tub and infrared sauna were nice. Our family enjoyed them. Our room had some wear (cracked sink, chipped soap dish,and such), but was very clean. The room was very warm and the thermostat wouldn’t turn on. We kept the windows open throughout the night. Reception and the restaurant are trendy chic and upscale. Dinner in the restaurant was tasty and tapas style. The bar sticks to the signature menu. Overall, it iwas a nice stop on our way to California."

"Rooms were comfortable, ample parking and great location - about a block from the beach. Simple take-away breakfast (bagel, waffle, yogurt). Pool was open; we didn't use it but saw lots of families walking to it. It also had a dedicated lawn area for the dogs with poo bag dispenser. What made this place stand out was the staff - extremely friendly, helpful, kind. Thanks for a great stay."

"The website is not clear about the difference between deluxe, oceanfront rooms, and ocean Bayview rooms. I ended up not getting the right room that I thought I had reserved for. They really need to make this more clear on the travel sites. Outside of that my only other complaint would be they have a apparently gone to streaming services only for TV use, but there is no instructions on how to use any of the remotes or the service services.. if you don’t use streaming services then you have essentially no tv. There really should be an option for local channels. The room was beautiful "
