"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at The West House for a family reunion. The house is lovely - spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The location cannot be beat. It is a short walk to the beach and convenient for restaurants in Seahouses, Bamburgh, and Beadnell. It is a great base for exploring the Northumbrian coast. Lynne was a very responsive host. We would definitely recommend and love to return."

"The double room (Room 2) had an en-suite with a bath and shower. The bathroom window was plain glass rather than frosted, although there was a curtain. The room had a fridge, hair dryer and binoculars to take advantage of the view as there were patio doors opening onto a balcony. We were surprised that despite putting out the “please make up room” sign it was not serviced during our three night stay. It was room only with no breakfast provided which we were aware of when booking, so made our own arrangements. Free parking was available on site which was good and it was about a five minute walk into Seahouses centre. We enjoyed our stay."

"The cottage is in a great location with easy access to the town, beaches, coastal walks, boat trips etc, and has its own parking space - the entrance is a little tight but we managed to get through in a 7-seater van. The area is family friendly with lots to do within a short distance and we would recommend the Milk and Honey ice cream parlour in Seahouses!The host was friendly and answered all queries quickly.The only small niggle was the wifi connection - it is shared and the house has a booster box (with the router located in another property). It was fine most of the time but there was sometimes not enough bandwidth for streaming services in the evening.Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the house."
